Built around a billet 4140 milled receiver, this rifle delivers superior rigidity and durability compared to traditional stamped AK designs, resulting in improved consistency and long-term performance. The Sharps Bros collaboration brings precision machining and tighter tolerances, elevating the MB47 well beyond standard AK variants.
A standout feature is the US Palm Free Float M-LOK Rail, which allows the barrel to remain free from external pressure—enhancing accuracy and consistency while providing a lightweight, rigid platform for accessories. This is a major upgrade over traditional AK handguards and gives the MB47 a true performance edge.
The rifle features a fluted, chrome-lined 16.25" barrel with 5/8x24 threading, offering improved heat dissipation, durability, and compatibility with a wide range of suppressors and muzzle devices. Paired with the Century Arms US Chevron compensator, recoil and muzzle rise are reduced for faster, more controlled follow-up shots.
Trigger performance is enhanced with the RAK-1 flat-faced trigger, delivering a clean, crisp break and smoother pull compared to standard AK triggers—making it more responsive in both precision and rapid-fire scenarios.
