The SIG SAUER ROMEO-RS Compact is a lightweight, open-emitter reflex sight engineered for compact, optics-ready pistols. This exact configuration—SOR02160—features a 6 MOA red dot, providing a large, highly visible aiming point designed for rapid target acquisition at defensive and close-range distances.
ROMEO-RS stands for Reinforced Steel. Its hybrid construction uses a skeletonized steel chassis molded into a high-strength polymer housing, giving the optic structural reinforcement without the weight of a conventional all-metal body. The chassis supports and protects a premium molded aspheric glass lens, while threaded metal inserts reinforce the mounting, battery-tray, windage and elevation interfaces.
The optic uses SIG SAUER’s MOTAC motion-activated illumination, automatically powering the reticle on when movement is detected and shutting it down during inactivity to conserve battery life. A recessed, side-mounted control button provides access to eight brightness settings. Its side-loading CR1632 battery tray allows the battery to be replaced without removing the sight from the pistol or disturbing the established zero.
The ROMEO-RS Compact is particularly suited to optics-ready pistols in the SIG SAUER P365 family, as well as other compatible slides. Steel recoil pins provide additional lockup strength and help resist lateral movement under recoil.
