The Winchester Xpert SR Scope Combo is a lightweight bolt-action rimfire rifle built for recreational target shooting, training, and small-game hunting. Chambered in .22 LR, it combines Winchester’s accuracy-focused Xpert platform with a factory-mounted and bore-sighted Vortex Crossfire II 2-7x32mm riflescope.
The rifle features a 16.5-inch precision button-rifled barrel, semi-match Bentz-style chamber, and target crown for dependable rimfire accuracy. Its muzzle is threaded 1/2x28 and fitted with a knurled thread protector, allowing the installation of a compatible rimfire suppressor or other muzzle accessory where legal.
Winchester’s adjustable Rimfire M.O.A. Trigger uses a three-lever design engineered to minimize creep, take-up, and overtravel. Compared with a conventional entry-level rimfire trigger, this premium system provides a cleaner, more predictable break that can help the shooter maintain better control and accuracy.
The included Vortex Crossfire II 2-7x32mm scope provides a versatile optical range for common rimfire distances. Its 2x setting offers a wider field of view for close-range targets, while 7x magnification provides a more detailed aiming picture for smaller or more distant targets. Fully multi-coated lenses improve light transmission and clarity, while the fast-focus eyepiece allows the reticle image to be focused to the shooter’s eye. The scope’s hard-anodized, one-piece aluminum tube is nitrogen-purged and O-ring sealed for waterproof and fogproof performance. Capped windage and elevation turrets help protect the adjustments during transport and field use.
The scope is supplied in rings on a one-piece Picatinny rail and is bore-sighted at the factory.
A gray composite stock keeps the rifle’s unloaded weight at approximately 4 pounds, 8 ounces. An extended bolt handle provides additional leverage, while Winchester’s ambidextrous magazine-release system allows the rotary magazine to be released using either the side-mounted rails or the bottom release tab. The rifle includes one 10-round rotary magazine and also accepts compatible Ruger 10/22-pattern magazines.
