The Glock G45 Gen6 is a compact-crossover 9mm pistol combining the shorter G19-length slide and 4.02-inch barrel with a full-size grip frame. This configuration provides the maneuverability of a compact slide while retaining the control and handling characteristics of a full-size pistol.
Gen6 updates include a newly contoured frame with a palm swell, enlarged beavertail, undercut trigger guard, extended textured thumb rests, and RTF6 grip texture. These refinements encourage a higher, more secure grip and provide improved control during recoil. Two interchangeable backstraps allow the grip circumference to be adjusted for different hand sizes.
The factory flat-faced trigger provides more consistent finger placement and a straighter rearward press than the traditional curved Glock trigger while retaining Glock’s proven Safe Action system with three automatic, independently operating mechanical safeties.
This model also features Glock’s new Gen6 Optic Ready System. Three included adapter plates accommodate a variety of compatible pistol-mounted optics without requiring a replacement slide. Deeply angled front and rear slide serrations provide positive traction during loading, unloading, and malfunction-clearing procedures.
